HOW WE STARTED

Cory Batz lost his battle with T-cell lymphoma at the tender young age of 16. Throughout his seven month fight, Cory never lost his faith in God, his strength or his courage. That strength inspired us to help other families who are enduring similar hardships.

MISSION STATEMENT

Cory’s Project provides direct financial support to families with children going through pediatric cancer treatment. Our organization raises funds through various fundraisers, toy drives, individual contributions and charity events.

Cory’s Project works directly with Pediatric Cancer Unit at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee to assist families and children in need.

Our organization works to:

  • Provide financial support to families of pediatric cancer patients, help them meet their financial needs, and allow them to spend more time with their hospitalized children

  • Provide emotional support and gifts to young patients in the Pediatric Care Unit

  • Work closely with trusted social workers into identify and fulfill the unique needs of families, providing assistance that might be missed by the system.

  • Speak to various schools and groups to raise awareness of childhood cancers and ways to help fight back
